Finding opportunities to involve and engage parents and families in the fraternal experience is important to OmegaFi. Parents and families are vital supporters during your child’s journey toward becoming financially responsible and self-sufficient.
OmegaFi believes parents play an essential support role for their student. Although we treat your child as a young adult responsible for making financial decisions, we encourage students to involve their parents as much as possible.
There are plenty of expenses associated with higher education, and there is plenty to worry about as your child navigates college life. OmegaFi tries very hard to make fraternity and sorority finances understandable and worry-free for you.
Our Committment to Parents:
Real, live human beings are available to answer your questions about your child’s fraternity or sorority financial obligations every business day (M-F) from 8:30 – 5:00 p.m. Eastern time.
We encourage your child to have his or her fraternity or sorority statement mailed to your permanent home address, in addition to the email and online versions we make available.
We’ll include a summary at the start of each college term detailing the various charges and due dates associated with your child’s fraternity/sorority bill.
If an error or problem develops, OmegaFi will intervene on your behalf and work with the appropriate chapter officers and advisors to address and resolve any problems.
We’ve built a parents-only interface just for you – myOmegaFi – available online and via app in both the Apple Store and Google Play store. Here, you have a secure place to review your child’s financial history with the fraternity or sorority. You can also go over your child’s account, pay dues or rent and stay-up-to-date on all financial transactions associated with the fraternity or sorority. See the Get Access section to learn how you can obtain your myOmegaFi account.
If you have already established a user name and password, log-in using the boxes at the top.
Parents and guardians can acquire their own access to financial information. To grant access, fraternity and sorority members must select the “Invite a Parent” icon within myOmegaFi and follow the easy instructions. Upon the student’s request, OmegaFi will send the parent an email invitation to create the parent’s own, separate account (or link it to their existing account) to jointly manage financial information.
